Instructions for use
1. Select the appropriate type of disposable endotracheal tube and ensure that the package is intact and the sterilization of product is within the validity period. Open the seal and take out the disposable endotracheal tube- only the professional doctor can operate according to the sterile procedure;
2.Test the cuff before inserting the disposable endotracheal tube: use the syringe to inject the gas and then leak the gas. Use the expansion rod to expand or shorten forwardly and backwardly so as to form an adjustable angle in the front of the disposable endotracheal tube;
3. Insert the disposable endotracheal tube according to the normal operation method, remove the expansion rod after inserting and finish the establishment of the airway;
4. After inserting the disposable endotracheal tube, determine the tip position of the disposable endotracheal tube through the X-ray visualization line; use the inflator cone to press the one-way valve and inject the gas into the cuff. The disposable endotracheal tube should be in safe position and avoid movement;
5. Connect the mechanical end of the suction lumen to the suction equipment, adjust the pressure and attract the phlegm. (The suction time should not be longer than 15s/time, and the suction action should be gentle. The negative pressure should not exceed -6.65 kPa. The suction lumen should be washed by using 5-15 ml normal saline after the suction of phlegm. For patient who needs to keep the disposable endotracheal tube for a long time, the disposable endotracheal tube should be well inserted properly into the right depth and position and avoid the disposable endotracheal tube being sliding out or inserting too deep.)
6. Ensure that the cuff of the disposable endotracheal tube can be injected gas smoothly and the normal ventilation is not blocked. Keep the airway smooth and unblocked, suck the phlegm regularly and ensure the humidification.
7. When it is time to take the disposable endotracheal tube out, first use the inflator cone to press the one-way valve and leak the gas from the cuff and take the disposable endotracheal tube out. If the gas in the cuff is too little to suck out, use the sharp instruments to pierce the cuff, and then remove the disposable endotracheal tube.
